Term 4 Maths Knowledge

This Term one of the skills I have worked on is Instantly recalling bonds to 100. Something I Learnt was recalling the maths questions as fast as I could.Something I need to work on is doing my homework.

Reading Term 4

 I have been learning about the nervous system.

My favourite thing I did in my reading group was learning the nervous system.I was really good at finding new information about the nerves on Google.

My favourite thing in the hive was the advertising poster.

Our business name is: Super smoothie girls 

Our logo is: Our slogan is: Feeling down need a smoothie come to super smoothie girls.

 

On Friday we tasted 3 smoothie flavours.

The flavour that worked best was: frozen berries apple yogurt because it had a creamy soft taste.

Someing they could improve on in the procedure is by making the instructions clearer.

W.A.L.T use interesting words to describe. The word I liked best was in Poppy’s poem. The word was Echo. The word I like best in my poem is fluro.

In Maths Knowledge testing I'm in the stage five group.I am working on skip counting in fractions.I am good at instantly recalling doubles up to ten.

Reading Term 2 In reading this week I read the book 'Wet' on Reading Eggspress App.I did not use the read-back function. Something I learned was all Bengal Tigers have different strips. I passed all of the comprehension tests. I needed to re- read 1 chapter to pass. My favourite page was the waterbirds

In reading I am in the Beagles group. W.A.L.T use clues in the text to figure out unknown words and clarify ideas. This is one of my follow up activities. Something I did well was writing lots of describing words. Something I need to improve is working out which words sound like a human instead it was the sea ( personification).4

In swimming I am in the dolphins group. It was freezing.I'm focusing on my backstroke.I enjoy playing in the ice cold water on Fridays because I have free time in the pool. I felt the little waves bumping against my chest. Something I did well was freestyle. I am working on backstroke.

On Wednesday at 10.30 we went to on the Waka trip with Mum and Maddy in mums car.We got to the river.Yay finally we got their.firstly Mrs North said to sit on the hill,so we all sat on the hill.Then we got our lifejackets on.The man talked all about how we do it.Of course safety.So then the whole class bordered along.Paddle,paddle,paddle.At last he talked about this special rock.We turned around and bordered oof but Casey, Leo,Maia,Naomi said a big thank u.The whole class said thank u very much.So we all got back happy and sadly.I felt great.So that was room6 Waka trip. In writing learning we are to write recounts. Something I did well was finishing my recount with a sentence about how I felt.
